Setzer and his #46 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports crew tested at North Carolina Motor Speedway on Tuesday in preparation for this weekend’s race at Darlington.
Dennis Setzer scored a career-best final point finish with 2nd in the 2003 NCTS point standings. He is also currently 2nd.
In addition to his 150 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, Dennis Setzer has 7 Winston Cup and 102 Busch Grand National starts in his career including 2 Busch Series victories (South Boston 1994, Hickory 1994)

Dennis Setzer set a NASCAR record with the win at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on May 21st of 2004. He is the only driver with at least one win in 7 straight seasons in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series - dating to 1998.
Setzer broke the single season streak of top-10 finishes in 2003 by finishing 20-straight races inside the top-10.
Dennis Setzer won the 2002 race at Martinsville by starting in 33rd position. It is the farthest any competitor has ever started a NASCAR Truck Series race to go on and win.

Dennis Setzer on Darlington Raceway:
"Our team doesn't really have a lot of recent notes on this track because we only ran a few laps here last year before we lost an engine. Darlington was our only DNF of 2003 and only one of two races where we didn't finish in the top ten. But this has been a strange year for us. The tracks that we run good at have not been as good for us, and we have run good at places that have not been our best tracks.

I have always liked coming to Darlington and have my fondest memories of my early career there. Matter of fact, David Pearson gave me some great advice about the track when I first came here, and now his son, Eddie works with us. Its going to be great to race under the lights with such a close points race and it should be great race for all the fans of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series."

Dennis Setzer on his finish at Phoenix Int’l Raceway (11/5):
“We just struggled to get any side grip today. I thought that last set of tires was going to have more grip but we had the same problems. Based on our qualifying spot, we made up a lot of ground today, but just didn’t have a decent finish. Our crew did a good job getting me a few positions in the pits today, but it was just so hard to pass anyone out there. These trucks are just so competitive; you really have to be on your game nowadays to get a good finish. We’re still in the championship fight, so we will just load up and go to Darlington and see what we can do.”

The Truck- “Pip”
“Pip” debuted at Michigan and looked to be headed to a 3rd place finish before finishing 10th. Pip ran again at Nashville qualifying 4th and finishing 19th. Pip scored his first top-ten finish in Vegas and sat on the outside front row for the team’s best earned qualifying effort of the season.
