Dennis Setzer tied a NASCAR record with the win at Mesa Marin in 2003. He
and Jack Sprague have at least one win in 6 straight seasons in the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series. With a win in 2004, Dennis would set the mark at 7
straight and would become the sole owner of that record.
Setzer broke the single season streak of top-10 finishes in 2003 by
finishing 20-straight races inside the top-10.
Dennis Setzer won the 2002 race at Martinsville by starting in 33rd
position. It is the farthest any competitor has ever started a NASCAR Truck
Series race to go on and win.

****Inaugural Race****
Dennis Setzer on the Mansfield Motorsports Speedway:
I got to get a look at this track a few weeks ago when we came up here
for the press conference. I even got a chance to race here in a late model
owned my Mike Smith of Akron. This is an awesome speedway and the owners
should be commended for the resources they have put into this facility.
The trucks are going to put on one heck of a show here. There is plenty of
room to race side-by-side all the way around the track. Its going to have
at least two grooves in the corners. This is the type of place that the
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series needs to be at.
