JACK SPRAGUE TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY QUOTES

ON TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY: “We are coming off a great run in California and will be running the same truck again this weekend in Texas. We tested very well this week in Atlanta so I am very comfortable with the package we have put together to unload for Texas. We ran fourth in the spring after starting deep in the field and I have a win and several top-five and top-ten finishes at this track so there is a confidence level for all of us there as well. Texas has always been one of my favorite tracks and I feel like if we can keep our momentum going from California, we can set our selves up to be a real contender for the championship in 2005."

ON REMAINDER OF 2004 SEASON: "Our goal is to get good finishes and some more wins to get as high in the top-ten in points as possible. It has been a frustrating season for all of us but none of us on this IWX Racing Chevy Trucks Silverado team will give up, we are going to keep digging and working to build our momentum for next season. I feel like I am the best I have been in my driving career and I know this team is the best; they have two championships to prove it. We are heading the right direction and that is what is important for next season. I am just anxious to keep this streak going and get back to victory lane before the season is over."

"We just seem to be on somewhat of a yo-yo. We had a good finish at New Hampshire, ran well and were a contender for the win and then down we went at Las Vegas. So it is hard to say if this is the point where we can turn our season around but we all want it to be."
