JACK SPRAGUE QUOTES:

ON INDIANAPOLIS RACEWAY PARK: “I love IRP. It has always been a really good track for me. It is a technical track with unique characteristics. There isn’t another track on the circuit that comes close to IRP. The fans are always treated to an action packed race. The same goes for the drivers. There have been some incredible last lap finishes there and I have been fortunate to come out the winner a couple of times. Our Chevy Trucks Silverado should be good for Friday’s show. With it being a one-day event, you have to be strong right off the trailer. Our IWX Racing team has had good runs there in the past so I am pretty optimistic about our chances for a strong finish.

ON 2004 SEASON TO DATE: “Sitting 10th in points isn’t where we want to be or thought we would be starting the second half of the season. It has been disappointing for everyone on our Chevy Trucks Silverado team because we have had some great runs going and been in a position to win several races only to have the engine let go or some other weird thing happen. We just have to keep shaking off the last race and put all of our energy and focus on the next race on the schedule. The points are going to fall where they are going to fall at this point.”
