I have always been a big fan of night races so I am looking forward to the first night NCTS race there. Hopefully we are running just enough later in the fall to not have the late afternoon sun be a problem early in the race, as it seemed to be for the Cup race. Night racing is a better race for the fans I think, it brings a whole new dimension to how the trucks look on the track. From a team and driver perspective, night races usually bring cooler temperatures that are better on the equipment and more comfortable for the drivers. In my opinion, it won't change how you drive the track. If you have the right setup and are handling really well, the track is wide open. It will take a little more adjustment to keep from getting too tight as the track cools if it is really hot during the day. But we do have a final practice on Friday that will run about the same time our race starts so we really should have a good idea of where we should be for the start of the race. I am looking forward to running the Chevy Trucks Silverado at California and go for another win. We have had some good runs there in previous races so I think we should be a solid contender for a trip to victory lane."
