KENOSHA, Wis. - Snap-on Tools has extended its long-time partnership with Ultra Motorsports and team owner Jim Smith into the 2004 season as a sponsor of the #1 Mopar Dodge Ram truck and #2 Team ASE/Carquest Dodge Ram truck. Snap-on Tools is a charter member of the Team ASE/Ultra Motorsports racing family, serving as a sponsor during every one of the team’s nine seasons. In 2004, Snap-on Tools will ride with drivers Ted Musgrave and Andy Houston and crew chiefs Shawn Parker and Dennis Connor for each of the 25 truck series races. The renewed sponsorship means that Ultra Motorsports crew members will continue to utilize the high-quality Snap-on tools and equipment they’ve come to rely upon at the track and in the shop in Mooresville, N.C., for nearly a decade. “Snap-On’s customers know that the team utilizes the same tools available from their Snap-on dealers or at www.snapon.com,” said Carl Johanson, Snap-on motorsports marketing manager. “Snap-on’s customers also appreciate everything that ASE does on behalf of technicians and the automotive service industry. It all makes for a very strong partnership between Snap-on Tools and Ultra Motorsports.” Snap-on Tools and Ultra Motorsports During the 2004 racing season, Snap-on will be racing at tracks from coast-to-coast through a program that includes: NASCAR Richard Childress Racing - Winston Cup Kevin Harvick - #29 Goodwrench Service Chevrolet Monte Carlo Johnny Sauter - #30 AOL Chevrolet Monte Carlo Robby Gordon - #31 Cingular Wireless Chevrolet Monte Carlo Kerry Earnhardt/Mike Skinner - #33 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet Monte Carlo (selected events) Busch Grand National Ron Hornaday - #2 AC Delco Chevrolet Monte Carlo Kevin Harvick/Clint Bowyer - #21 Reese’s Chevrolet Monte Carlo (Hershey’s Kisses primary at Daytona date) Dale Earnhardt Inc. - Winston Cup Dale Earnhardt Jr. - #8 Budweiser Chevrolet Monte Carlo John Andretti - #1 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Chance 2 Motorsports - Busch Grand National Martin Truex Jr. - #81 Chance 2 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt Jr. - #8 Chevrolet Monte Carlo • Daytona date with Nabisco/Oreo/Ritz primary • Talladega dates with Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell primary Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates - Winston Cup Sterling Marlin - #40 Coors Light Dodge Intrepid Casey Mears - #41 Target Dodge Intrepid Jamie McMurray - #42 Havoline Dodge Intrepid Penske Racing South - Winston Cup Rusty Wallace - #2 Miller Lite Dodge Intrepid Ryan Newman - #12 Alltel Dodge Intrepid Brendan Gaughan - #77 Kodak Dodge Intrepid Rusty Wallace Inc. - Busch Grand National Billy Parker - #66 Duraflame Dodge Intrepid Michael Waltrip Racing - Busch Grand National Michael Waltrip - #99 Aaron’s Chevrolet Monte Carlo Robby Gordon Racing - Busch Grand National Robby Gordon - #55 Fruit-of-the Loom Chevrolet Monte Carlo Fitz-Bradshaw Racing - Busch Grand National Tim Fedewa - #12 Super Cuts/Hot Tamales Chevrolet Monte Carlo Randy Lajoie - #82 JaniKing Chevrolet Monte Carlo Biagi Brothers Racing - Busch Grand National Mike Wallace - #4 Geico Chevrolet Monte Carlo Ultra Motorsports - Truck Series Ted Musgrave - #1 Mopar Performance Dodge Andy Houston - #2 Team A.S.E./Ultra Motorsports Dodge Kevin Harvick Inc. - Truck Series Matt Crafton #6 Goodwrench Chevrolet Silverado Kevin Harvick #92 Snap-on Chevrolet Silverado (May 21, 2004 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway) Bang Racing/Larry McReynolds - Truck Series Mike Skinner #42 Toyota Factory Tundra Travis Kvapil #24 Line-X Toyota Tundra Team Rensi - Busch Grand National Bobby Hamilton Jr. - #25 Team Marines Ford NATIONAL HOT ROD ASSOCIATION Doug Herbert Racing - Top Fuel Doug Herbert and the Snap-on Top Fuel Dragster Star Racing - Pro Stock Motorcycle Angie McBride – Pro Stock Suzuki Steve Johnson Racing - Pro Stock Motorcycle Steve Johnson – K & N/Snap-on Pro Stock Suzuki Pedregon Brothers Racing - Nitro Funny Car Cruz Pedregon – Advance Auto Parts Tony Pedregon – Quaker State Alan Johnson Racing - Nitro Funny Car Jerry Tolliver – Schick Toyota INDYCAR SERIES Participating member of the IRL Leader’s Circle in support of all full team teams Associate Sponsor Marlboro Team Penske Helio Castroneves Sam Hornish Associate Sponsor Target Ganassi Racing Darren Manning Scott Dixon ELKHART LAKE’S ROADAMERICA - Sponsor SNAP-ON STARS OF KARTING - Series Sponsor TEAM SUZUKI – MOTOCROSS/SUPERCROSS - Team Sponsor Snap-on Tools Company is a subsidiary of Snap-on Incorporated, a leading global developer, manufacturer and marketer of tool and equipment solutions for professional tool users.
